With a decades-long background in architecture and residential construction, Dante was fortunate to be given the opportunity and freedom to develop his mechanical bidding skills and procedures while working at J. Kokolakis Contracting, Inc. before he signed on with Apollo.
Establishing his reputation early as reliable, meticulous and thorough, Dante started generating our mechanical numbers for each bid in his first year working at Apollo. Dante has a passion for winning the bid, and early on he began creating bids and estimates for equipment, piping, piping accessories, prefab direct-buried piping, ductwork, fuel oil systems and plumbing. Before long, Dante worked his way up to managing the entire estimating process. Since 2010, Dante has produced bid numbers for locations across the United States, training a series of bidding assistants along the way, many of whom have moved into our Project Management team.
In early 2012 Dante took on all the mechanical procurement responsibilities. Today he is our Chief Estimator and also assists our Project Management department with mechanical submittals, contracts and vendor POs.
Dante volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, using his talents in architecture and residential construction to help others in need.
